Click here to visit the City of Ruston's online bill payment portal. This payment portal format allows you to make a payment without accessing your customer information or account balance. You can allow others to make a payment on your behalf without sharing account details.
Please note: When paying your bill online, please allow up to 48 business hours for account information to be updated to reflect your current payment information. If you are paying your account after the due date, the additional penalty fees may not be shown. Please refer to your utility bill if you are paying after the due date for the correct payment amount. This will also help to avoid your late payment penalty from being added to your next bill as a past due amount.
Note: Electronic Checks take up to 10 business days to reverse if an error occurs.
Payments Made Online/Phone will be reflected on your account the next business day. If you are paying after services are disconnected please call the office to have your services restored. You will need to be prepared to pay a $25 reconnect fee over the phone with a Cashier.
Please follow the steps below to use the new system:
1. Take your City of Ruston bill to a nearby Family Dollar or ACE Cash Express
2. Show the instructions on the back of the bill to the cashier. A $1.49 fee will be added.
3. Pay with cash and get a receipt, it's that simple!
